La Casetta di Tre Pietre

The house is located on the ground floor of the building to the east, rebuilt in 2017. Previously, it was used as a summer residence. The name of the Casetta comes from the steep lane, Tre Pietre, which runs along the eastern side of the property, skirting the terrace to lead directly to the town of Malfa itself.

Here, we are in a very spacious apartment, the largest of them all, ideal for a big family or two couples with children, who wish to enjoy all the comforts and a superb view, with a gnarled olive tree and Mediterranean plants in the foreground, and behind, the deep blue Aeolian Sea. From the parking area, steps and a stone path through the garden lead to the Casetta. Access to the apartment is from the terrace, in Aeolian style with its ‘bisuoli’ (wall seating), ‘pulere’ (columns), and thatched roof, table and chairs, sunbeds and armchairs, from where to enjoy the wonderful, priceless panoramic view of the beautiful garden and the islands of Panarea and Stromboli. The main entrance opens into the living area with sofa bed; the kitchen is on the left, with utility room behind, while on the right a hallway leads to the bedroom, with its bathroom and direct access to the terrace, and the living area leads through into the second bedroom with bathroom.

The Casetta and terrace are paved with precious Sicilian terracotta, treated to protect it, with a natural surface. The Casetta is surrounded by the garden with areas for sunbeds and for reading, outdoor showers, the laundry and other facilities. Close to the Casetta are bars, restaurants, a supermarket, petrol station, pharmacy, health centre, car and scooter hire, boat hire, cash machine, post office.
